I can not play embedded video's in firefox when "Compiz" or "Emerald" is active.
So this problem only occurs with "embedded" video's in Firefox with "Compiz" or "Emerald" active.
When I go to youtube's webpage itself I can play the video also with "Compiz" or "Emerald" active, but than the video control functions, like stopping the video, don't work. When I switch "Compiz" off there is no problem and I also can play embedded video's in Firefox.
It is not clear to me whether compiz or emerald is the problem because when I switch compiz on, emerald also is switched on automatically.

PS. What I mean with that I can not play the video is that the video is there but does not start when I click on the start button.
I get the impression it has something to do with the control buttons not working, not with the video itself.

PS. The problem seems to be in Compiz. I completely removed both Emerald and Compiz and then reinstalled Compiz again. The same problem as described above came up again. As I said it looks like the video control buttons don't work (properly) so
maybe flash player also could be the problem.

I can confirm this, happens with Kubuntu Karmic Koala with Compiz enabled, embedded videos don't register the "play" click, but when visiting the Youtube site videos (and controls) work fine.

Thanks for your response. I will install 64 bit flash and hope this
workaround works.
