Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebluetooth

I am using fully updated Kubuntu 9.10 with KDE 4.3.2. I copied to clipboard a URL and tried to use the "Send --> Clipboard Text" feature of kbluetooth. The device selection window appeared, I selected a device and when I clicked send kbluetooth crashed. I tried this with other recipient devices and it happens too.
I am using a Dell XPS M1330 with the Dell 355 Bluetooth module.

Upstream has committed a fix for this bug. I'm building a test package at my ppa, so it should be available for testing quite soon.

  * Add kubuntu_02_fix_clipboard_send_crash.diff from upstream to fix the
crash encountered sending the clipboard contents to a bluetooth device.
Can be removed next upstream release (LP: #457255, B.K.O. #211357)
