Bug Description

Binary package hint: xnc

One shortcut is added in:

Applications > Applications > XNC

another one in:

Applications > System Tools > XNC

As "Applications" has no nice icon, no other piece of software that i have installed puts it's shortcut in there it seems only the shortcut in System Tools should be in there.

Steven, the Debian menu file should be there. The duplicate entry will be due to one of the categories in the .desktop file.

I can see here that the .desktop file is not in the debian/ directory.
Am I authorized to edit it anyway ?

Maybe we should remove 2 of the 3 .desktop file that are in the desktop directory. The problem is that if we make that change, we shoul modify Makefile.in too, not to install them.

xnc (5.0.4-2.1ubuntu1) gutsy; urgency=low

  * Makefile.in:
    - removed 2 desktop install instructure.
      Just installing now xnc-gnome2.desktop
      (LP: #45569)
  * debian/control:
    - Updated to match Ubuntu Maintainer Policy
