ZGStyle, thanks for your bug report. Please could you tell us if you are using NetworkManager? The Ubuntu One client has a dependency on NetworkManager, as the attached error logs show.Thanks.

No, I don't use NetworkManager. It connects very slowly and is bugy for me.
I use Wicd instead. In my case it works perfectly.
You are telling UbuntuOne has NetworkManager dependency...
But it was working fine for me whole last month without NetworkManager.
Does it mean dependency was added recently?
Could you please be so kind and tell me how can I use UbuntuOne without NetworkManager?
Thanks!

You can use Wicd with the UbuntuOne Client. Try to use with NetworkManager. Do you use a proxy server?

i'm using network manager and doesn't matter is proxy on use or not.
No firewall blocking connection.
Here's my wireshark cap. file as an attachment.
My other pc (9.10 64bit amd) has exatly same network settings as i have on this computer (9.10 UNR) and it has no problems to connect ubuntu one shared files.

I've got the same problem. Additionally ubuntuone applet shows disconnected all the time. See attached screenshot.
When attempting to connect it shows info that files are being synchronized and shows disconnected state again after about 1 second.

No news so far, but to be honest, I would not recommend to use Ubuntu One
services yet.
I have lost many files due to different bugs in Ubuntu One (lucky me - I had
backups).
At the moment I have switched to Dropbox - it also has 2 GB free and works
without any problems on Linux, MAc and Windows.
I'm going to keep eye on Ubuntu One and as soon as they will resolve the
issues, I will come back.

I got problem above work now.

Heres steps i did:
1. close ubuntuone client
2. remove machines from ubuntu one account
3. open a terminal and hit these magic words: rm -rf .local/share/ubuntuone/syncdaemon/

Clearly, the other bug (488413) is the duplicate of this bug not the other way around: it was reported more than a month later.
