Hi Stephan,

My apologies for the inconveinence this has caused you. The good news is that we just released a new update to the client today and this problem should be fixed with that update. Please let me know if after you update your system the problem continues.

Thank you,

Joshua

Hi Joshua,
it "kind-of" fixed it. After applying the latest version it doesn't connect
at all :-(
However that might be a coincidence since there was a series of other
updates coming in at the same time which might have broken something. Where
would the sync-deamon log its connection attempts, so I can have a look?

Hi Stephan,

Thank you for the follow up. I'm happy to hear the initial bug is fixed. Unfortunately, we've been having some server issues that are affecting users trying to login to the service. We should have a fix out today for that.

In the mean time, the logs for Ubuntu One can be found in: ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/

Thank you,

Joshua
