my computer is a Packard Bell. 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03) Chip: Generic 10de ID 3 alsa 1.0.21
The sound never found
in window vista the sound found
I could not find any drivers for the audio.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get sound on Ubuntu?

sound not work at all?
I have same chip on my laptop, and for me sounds not worked only with
internal speakers, from headphones output sound is ok.
