Bug Description

Contrary to what is suggested in bug #25824 the file /etc/readahead/desktop is not updated when "profile" is added to the kernel command line. The boot file is updated, but the desktop file is not.

The desktop file is only needed if you have /usr on a separate partition, otherwise it is ignored.

"profile" produces "best" files for your system, so everything to do with /usr will be in the boot file

So /etc/init.d/readahead-desktop does NOT read for example gnome libraries?
