Bug Description

I installed yesterday the desktop daily build AMD x64 on my fujitsu-siemans amilo pro v3205. I Upgraded the distribution 3 times via update manager. Yesterday I forgot the laptop on and went to sleep, obviously the battery ran out and this morning i discovered the error.

ProblemType: KernelOops
Annotation: This occured during a previous hibernate and prevented it from resuming properly.

Hi M@rcel,

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report.

apport-collect -p linux 447902

Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jeremy

I really think that is no longer an issue, I think that the successive
kernel updates surpassed
the situation since it was never reproduced the problem. However, I can no
longer reproduce the situation since i sold the computer (amilo pro v3205)
two months ago to buy a new one.

I know you probably can not help me but in the new computer (Toshiba -
U500-1EW) in which I have Ubuntu 10:04 (beta) has been impossible to make
the wireless work, it seems there is not really functional driver for the
chipset wifi realtek
(Realtek 8172 Rev 10).

  Thanks for your reply.

And congratulations you are doing a great job.

  Regards,

  Marcel Herman
