Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Often, I use OO Writer to make and edit HTML websites. The bug which complicates this work, can best be illustrated via this example:
http://circleletter.rainbowinfo.net/Links.html
First navigate at this page via Firefox, Konqueror or any other browser. Especially click at the word 'Links' and than at the links listed in the overview.
Than download a copy of this page and it's images. Open the copy with O.O. Writer and select the 'navigator'. One would expect to see back the table names that has been chosen for via 'navigator' in a previous session. By example:
http://circleletter.rainbowinfo.net/Links.html#Top|table
But what happens instead, is the following. Each time I reopen the file via O.O. Writer, the tables are being renamed automatically. By example "...Links.html#Top|table" becomes "...Links.html#Table1|table" Consequence: the links at the page do not work any more: by example a link 'back to the top' does simply not any more bring you back to the right place. The only way I have found so far to remedy this problem, is renaming ALL the tables back to the original names each time time Iopen the HTML file with a view to adding or changing something.

Please, open the attachment 'Links.html' via O.O. Writer and use the 'navigator' to check the automatically renamed tables - and especially to compare them with the table names at this web page:
http://circleletter.rainbowinfo.net/Links.html
This comparison will make my bug report more understandable.

Respectfully yours,

Bas Roufs.

Hello Chris

What means in this context ''upstream"?

Of course, I am happy to also submit the bug in question to the
OpenOffice site you are pointing me at and to provide this thread with
the bug number my report there will generate. I will do so at the end
of this week or early next week.
Respectfully yours,
Bas.
