Bug Description

I use cGmail in combination with the indicator-applet. cGmail registers itself as cGmail in the Messaging Menu. If I click on cGmail, I get the settings dialog where I can add or remove mail accounts.
I think this action is not used very often: when do you need to change settings or add an account? You can do that via the Applications --> Internet --> cGmail, so there is no need to open the preferences dialog if clicked on cGmail.

Instead, I would love if cGmail would shows all e-mail notifications again (as a message in the NotifyOSD), so I can see which e-mails are waiting for me if I missed a notification. This way, I don't have to open a browser to open Gmail to see the messages I have.

How did you get cgmail to register in the indictaor applet messaging menu? It does not do that on my system. What versions are you using of cgmail and indicator-applet?
Other than that, I completely agree with what you're saying.

Actually I'm thinking maybe rather than re-popup the notification bubble, we can make use of the configuration window of cGmail to show detailed mail information (subject, sender etc.) under each of the activated account. This way you can click the cGmail entry in the messaging menu to check missed details of e-mails too

Francesco's already been working on a window showing unread mails. Its just not ready yet and currently disabled.
