Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

On Karmic Beta

As described. My iPod Nano is recognized by Nautilus and Rhythmbox, but it does not by Banshee. I tested with removing Rhythmbox, but that does not help.

Hi and thanks for reporting this bug.

What does `podsleuth --rescan` in the terminal (with iPod connected) say?

I have the same problem. The terminal says "No iPods were found in the HAL device tree" with the iPod connected.

Thanks!

The same with iPod Video 80GB. Since upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic, the Player is mounted correctly in Ubuntu, but not shown in Banshee 1.6 Beta (1.5.1).

Banshee does recognize my iPod only if there are songs on it but syncing doesn't work. The files are on the iPod but they are not shown.
