Eclipse could not be installed from the Ubuntu Software Center

When trying to install Eclipse, Ubuntu Software Center comes up with the following error:

I'm also unable to install eclipse via apt-get. The package eclipse is broken.

I think the problem has nothing to do with the Software Center, but maybe it should display a more precise error message?

The message when trying to install via apt-get is (translation at the bottom):
