I'm also having the same issue but surely this can't be an issue with anjuta. I had assumed it's an X/video driver issue, it shouldn't crash from an application request unless it is faulty.

Hey "buzz", maybe there's something similar in our setups that can help us isolate the issue and get this triaged into the right place. I have:

* System: DELL Inspiron 1501
* Video Harware: ATI Technologies Inc RS482 [Radeon Xpress 200M]
* Video Drivers: ati/radeon (open source)
* Compiz: enabled

Video Drivers: nvidia (closed source)
Compiz: enabled/disabled

Compiz doesn't effect this bug, it crashes in both cases

Ok, found the bug within the run-plugin source code and will post a patch for it.

In the meantime just symlink anjuta-launcher to anjuta_launcher.

Never set to Fix committed unless an updated package has actually been pushed into the repository. This ticket is off the radar when set to "Fix committed"

I mixed up fix released and fix committed in my last comment. Still, I believe the advice "don't set to fixed $anything" unless you are upstream or a Ubuntu dev generally holds.

Hi,

Rolf is right: please keep the debdiff as small as possible (in this case, it could be that the control file is generated).
Also, in your changelog, please explains what are the modified file (like debian/patches/02-run-plugin.patch: ...), explaining each patch in that case.

Thanks,
Fabrice
