Bug Description

On LiveCD Touchpad click is disabled by default.

It really means a huge usability issue, since almost all of users having a laptop are used to tap the touchpad.
It only needs to come enabled by default, because it works.

I think with the new hotplugging in Xorg, you don't technically need an Xorg.conf, but that having one will override default settings. So I think this may be a bug in Xorg's handling of the tounchpad.

Tapping is enabled by default, but you are not necessarily using the synaptics driver. Attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log to this bug, or run 'ubuntu-bug 434032'.
