Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

When starting Karmic Alpha 6, I can enter my login information, the splash screen shows up, then the screens goes black, goes on and I'm back to the login screen.

Got the crash information from the harddisk while using ubuntu 9.04.

When starting from the LiveCD, the splash screen appears and the screen turns on and off...but nothing happens (seems to be the same bug).

I got a crash file from nautilus, too. I'll add it to this bug report.
