This problem has beeen around for ages. This forum will get you nowhere. Try

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BluetoothSetup

I got my equipment working perfectly after using this method. The only thing
which I cannot find is a way of getting a bluetooth icon back on my desktop.

I have now unsubscribed from the bluetooth forum but please pass on this
information.

I have the same problem. The new bluetooth device wizard detects the keyboard, and give me a PIN code to input on the keyboard. The input is never detected or it immediatly fails at the first key pressed.
