Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-games

Sudoku

After the game a game is completed, a summary screen shows "Total time" and "Active Time" (or similar). You can hit "OK" and close this pop up window and have access to the completed game board. If you hit "Undo", the last number you entered is wiped out and you can type it again (or hit "Redo"). By doing this, the summary screen shows up again, with the correct "Active" time, but the "Total" time now shows twice the "Total Time" you got the first time. If you hit Undo and Redo again, the Total time is three times the original Total Time, and so on.

Although it _could_ be related, they are NOT the same bug. Bug 282315
states problems with time tracking while playing. The bug I just opened
relates to multiplying the total time played by X, when X is how many times
you finished the same game (by undoing/redoing).

Anyway... Thanks for you reply.

Teej,
Strange, that was lost somehow... The game is SUDOKU, you can see on the *title* of the comments #3 and #4 above.
Thanks...

Version 2.31.3-0ubuntu1
Just tried to reproduce this in Maverick following what was written, i.e. complete a game and try Undo/Redo, and the game time doesn't change, therefore I have marked this Fix Released (probably fixed with bug 282315), although it is doubtful it will be fixed for earlier versions.
From bug 282315:
"Sebastien Bacher wrote on 2010-04-06:
the bug is a small game one and lucid will be available this month it's not likely karmic will get an update for such a small issue"

Changed in gnome-games (Ubuntu):
assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) → nobody
status: Incomplete → Fix Released
