it removes some serious bugs.

This is mostly a bugfix release.
Not sure if it needs a FFe.

I have uploaded this package to debian and also built it on my ubuntu
laptop. Package is good to sync, so I'm acknowledging this sync request.

I don't think so. no really new "features" are being introduced.
