FTBFS with glibc 2.10

cdrkit 9:1.1.9-1ubuntu1 FTBFS with glibc >= 2.10 due to conflicting symbols.

Proposed fix:

cdrkit (9:1.1.9-1ubuntu2) karmic; urgency=low

  * Fix FTBFS with glibc 2.10 (LP: #430190)
    - Use quilt patch system
      + debian/control
      + debian/rules
      + debian/patches/series
    - Add patch from Paldo Linux
      + debian/patches/fix_ftbfs_glibc_210.patch

Such a problem did not occur if Ubuntu did distribute supported software.
The official cdrtools are supported and include a workaround for this problem
that resuls from POSIX.1-2008 not being POSIX compliant. The workaround
in the original software was introduced a year ago.....

I really don't understand why Ubuntu insists in distributing the illegal
and unmaintained fork instead of the legal maintained original.

Felix, the patch itself looks fine, but I wouldn't recommend introducing quilt when the package doesn't have a patch system already. Can you post a new patch that just applies the patch to the source code directly?

(It might be a good idea to file a Debian bug report as well as the mailing list post. Thanks for the latter.)
