Bug Description

Binary package hint: x11-xserver-utils

Maximum resoltion with dvi hdmi cable is 720*480.
When connecting with vga cable resolution works fine.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.

Also on Lucid its still the same... Resolution ist not usable...

I tried TV-OUT, DVI-2-HDMI --> not usable...

TV-OUT is showing BIOS and then nothing...
DVI-2-HDMI shows that im using 42" instead of my 27" inch TV (LG) and resolution is not practically.

Only VGA cable is working.

Anyhow i could not user X1600 Radeon at all... graphic driver ist not working..
I want to install XBMC but...
