How dark is "dark"? I tested OOo with my theme set to 'Darkroom' and all buttons were perfectly visable?

I didn't find the default theme on my computer but tried the similar Clearlooks. Then I choose Customise and clicked on the tab Colours. There I clicked on the Windows/Background setting to get to the "Pick a colour"-window. Then I used the settings as in the screenshots attached. I have tried different sets of icons and different language settings but that had no impact on the problem.

Can you send me your theme Darkroom so I can test it on my computer?

This was the colour settings I used.
Hue: 30
Saturation: 1
Value: 16
Red:41
Green: 41
Blue: 40
Colour name: #292928

Usually I use the theme SlicknesS-Black with the icon-set black-white 2 Style but don't focus to much on the theme settings because the problem appears in any "dark" theme.

The darklooks/darkroom themes are in the package "gnome-themes-extras".
