Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

[Problem]
The 'Eject' command doesn't show up reliably after a CD has automounted in the cdrom.

[Steps to Reproduce]
0. Open nautilus to the /media directory
1. Insert a CD
2. Wait until CD has automounted (directory listing shows up in a separate nautilus window)
3. In the /media window, right-click

Expected behavior: "Unmount" and "Eject" are shown in the menu
Actual behavior: "Unmount" is shown, but "Eject" is not.

[Workaround]
From the /media window, doubleclick on the cdrom icon, to navigate to the cdrom. Then click Back. Now the context menu includes 'Eject'.

Hi, can anyone confirm this is still an issue? I tried this out from the computer:// folder, and was able to see an use the Eject context menu item once the CD had automounted.

Thanks.

Could you try if that's still an issue in current lucid?

I've just tested lucid and found it is working properly on my hardware.
