install on 1.1 should check for packages php-session and php-pcre

When checking the requirements the installer should check to see if the server has php-session installed and php-pcre installed.

I spent quite a while finding the right lines of code to figure out what packages I was missing.

It would save others that same pain in the future. :)

Just to be clear, that's the 1.1 series code base?

If so, thanks for letting us know. I'm not sure what state the code in the 1.1 repo is in at the moment - don't be suprised if lots of bits don't work.

We know we also need to add a whole load of dependancies to the installer for the translations too..

yeah, it is 1.1, and yes, it was just a heads up kinda deal, I'd set up a
sandbox to try out 1.1 because my client is itchy to move to the python
client

Cool. I'll tag appropriately then.

FYI the current code for the python client is tested against a stock 1.0.3 as there isn't a server that supports the XLF v2 spec yet...
