Bug Description
Hi,
I've recently purchased a Sony Vaio TT11LN/B; it comes with a 3G modem using driver "option" that's working like a charm in Karmic alpha 3 64 bit, but:
I'm always able to get a working connection, despite the content of /sys/devices/
-----
Updated 25/8/09: removed the problem "device not seen using lsusb when the laptop hasn't the battery on", as it's hardware related (dmesg shows the usb device is disconnected when I remove the battery).

Hi again!
Please forget #1, as it's hardware related. I've booted to windows without the battery, and the program also says it can't find the hardware; I've asked Sony, but I haven't received yet the answer...
For those interested, I'm attaching 2 files, syslog when inserting the battery, and when removing it. Everything seems to get recognized again, but network manager doesn't notice.
... and, please, DON'T forget #2 ;)
TIA ;)
