Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When I visit websites like zune.net or use apps from FB, the flash starts flashing or blinking! I don't know how to describe it. Sometimes it just shows the flash display black, instead of the normal one. I installed first the Adobe flash plugin, I uninstalled that one and installed the one offered by Ubuntu, called Macromedia flash plugin. I have no idea what is causing it and I don't what to do. This is my first Ubuntu computer, so I really need help. Thanks!

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: firefox-3.0 3.0.13+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1
ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_US.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: firefox-3.0
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-14-generic i686

Also, if I go to Facebook and try to play pocker or one of the other games, the flash doesn't work.

Thank you for the update. It seems that you have multiple flash players installed. This is probably causing your problem. Could you please remove adobe-flashplugin and restart Firefox? Please let us know if this solves your problem.
