Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

running karmic on a amd64 system with only standard repos and firefox 3.5 from repository.
ram and cpu are not at all maxed when bug happens.

firefox version: 3.5.2+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 - also happening with 3.0.13+nobinonly-0ubuntu1

what happened: firefox windows closed suddenly

what was expected: not to close

what was done before the bug: I've been working on a cisco communications manager 7 website and doing configuration.

is the bug repeatable: yes - I'm getting this always after about 15 minutes of work on the web-gui of the ccm.

what else: I've been changing from the 3.0 release from repository since I had that problem and thought it might disappear with 3.5. And I'm running vesa driver with no composing or elso, of course.

Hope that helps,
Michael

I've now sometimes seen a warning after restoring my session in firefox that warned me about a loop on the page I'm visiting. (Looks like its redirecting to itself).

So the bug might be that firefox is not always recognizing such redirecting loops...
