Could this just be a bad sata cable?

I don't think so because I had windows in it and it didn't freeze the way
it's happening now. In fact it happens when I am having a lot of IO, it
freezes for a few seconds and sometimes the some processes terminate.

This issue is really worring me !, I am attaching more syslog messages I'm getting.

apport-collect 410011

This will help us to find and resolve the problem. Bear in mind that you may need to install the python-launchpadlib package from the universe repository. Additionally, when prompted to give apport-collect permissions for Launchpad you will need to give it at least the ability to "Change Non-Private" data as it will be adding information to your bug report. I had to uninstall ubuntu because of these problems.
