Bug Description

My wireless dongle - ADDON GWU180 - worked fine in 8.10, but since upgrading cannot connect to my home network. I have an old Advent 6412 laptop with USB 1.1. It did connect once but I only managed to download a few bytes before it stopped working again. I am still new to not just Ubuntu but Linux generally and not really sure what I am doing. The ethernet connection is still OK, and the dongle still works on other platforms.
Anyone who can help me please use "blonde" language.

Thanks for contacting me Fabio.
I'm sorry to say I gave up trying to get it working with Ubuntu and switched
to Linux Mint (Helena).
Everything is working fine now.
Regards
Colin

Hello Colin
Thanks for the reply.
Dont worry, Mint is Ubuntu with a different wear, if you like his look, simply use it.
