Bug Description

I have overwritten some pdf files on my hard disk and Ubuntu One seemed to make no progress while Working. So I decided to delete Ubuntu One (including configuration), changed Ubuntu One folder permissions so I could delete them, I deleted my computer from the Ubuntu One account on the web and now, when I install Ubuntu One back again, it doesnt give me an opportunity to link my PC to my Ubuntu One account. That is the only issue so far :(

I found a solution here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/+bug/363243

I also removed the Ubuntu One entry (/token) from Seahorse (Passwords and Encryption Keys, 'Passwords' tab), uninstalled Ubuntu One packages including configuration, followed the Installation manual in the Web client and I was able to add my computer again after disabling NoScript in Firefox.

I think that the token should be removed with the configuration of one of the Ubuntu One client packages, though. Maybe it was already mentioned, Im not sure.

That is an excellent point. The ubuntuone-client postrm script should
delete the token from the keyring.

No it shouldn't. The client software itself should delete the token and
attempt to reauthorize when authorization fails. Deleting the token from
the package scripts is a very bad thing. Packages should never touch
user data or configuration. It is a very frowned upon thing to do so. :)

It seems it tries to connect to the local host, but nothing is listening for this connectionrequest:
