This happens with any combination of internal links in hotmail

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can become corrupt. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test.

I created a new profile and problem does not occur.
It might be one of the many extensions I use.
Nevertheless it is still a bug...

If you could try disabling all the extensions in your other profile and then enable them one by one, you might be able to tell which extension is causing it. A bug with an extension is usually not a Firefox bug, but a problem with the extension itself.

Firebug has been updated in the last couple of weeks. I believe the current version is 1.4.2
