Running a Karmic Alpha 3 on an Acer Aspirr 5051QWXMi with X64 architecture I get the following when starting f-spot:

     Assembly: NDesk.DBus (assemblyref_index=7)

The assembly was not found in the Global Assembly Cache, a path listed in the MONO_PATH environment variable, or in the location of the executing assembly (/usr/lib/f-spot/).

could you run f-spot as: f-spot --debug &> f-spot-debug.txt reproduce the crash and attach that resulting file to the report? Thanks in advance.

is libndesk installed and with the right path on your system? could you try to re install it ? it seems that the installation of that library is corrupted someway.

Pedro I have reinstalled libndesk, but no results. Maybe I am going to
reinstall Karmic completly, because I get lots of crash-reports about
python-26, nautilus, firefox etc. Maybe my system is a bit out of
balance.

Pedro, after the latest updates of this evening f-spot is running fine again.
I think my problem is solved.
