HP Officejet 6500 duplex option not available

Installed v3.9.6b, previously had v3.9.4b installed.
Two issues to report:

1) Properties on printer being setup via hp-setup did not correctly select "Duplexer installed", manually selected option after installation of v3.9.6b via System=>Adminstration=>Printing.

2) Still could not select duplex printing from "Page Setup" properties. Found a knowledge case where changing the paper size from "Letter 8.5x11in " to "Letter Autosize 8.5x11in" and could then choose duplex long/short side printing option from within applications.

Just installed 3.13.2. My duplexing option is fully greyed out and i cannot select it anymore

I have the same problem with HP OfficeJet 6500 709n, HPLIP-3.14.10 Public Release, LinuxMint 17
My duplexing option is fully greyed out and i cannot select it anymore.
And i selected Autoduplex size A4 so i cant select long edge or short edge But not print a double side.
An issue ?
