Photo is not shown in the 'view and edit a photo'-mode

Bug Description

Binary package hint: f-spot

When switching from the browse photos to view/edit photo mode in f-spot, the photo is not shown. What is shown instead is what was previously shown in that place. The space around where the photo should be becomes white (as it should be). The attached screenshot should make things clearer.

After minimizing and restoring f-spot, the area of the photo is shown gray.

I experience this same problem on i386. Other than arch, the above data from the original poster is the same for my situation.
