Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

If I allow the default kernel to boot, the system boots into a low resolution. I have not been able to figure out a way to correct this. I have tried auto detect and manual correct and have failed.

When I intervene and boot 2.6.27-7, the system functions normally.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-system-monitor
Package: gnome-system-monitor 2.26.0.1-0ubuntu1
ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_CA.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: gnome-system-monitor
Uname: Linux 2.6.27-7-generic i686

The video card is a 32MB AGP GeForce2.

The mobo is a Shuttle AN35N Ultra V1.1.
1.5GB Ram.

I will more info as opportunity allows.
