Bug Description

I don't exactly know when it happened. I got this crash report after a restart. Probably the Xorg server was not shut down cleanly.

This error seems to be related to NVidia drivers. On the Internet are reports of rather vague work arounds.

Thanks for the pointer. The problem happens quite frequently under
VirtualBox. It's running on a WinXP host w/ a nvidia chipset underneath,
though the x.org driver is the virtualbox driver. Thankfully when xorg
crashes now everything just keeps working and you hardly notice other than
the popup telling you that it crashed. That's really nice compared to in
the past!

same problem here with virtual box 3.0.4, Karmic guest and debian lenny host.

I have this each time I boot. I have a warning which says Xorg crashed, but my desktop seems to work correctly.
