Bug Description
1. Create new email.
1.1 Subject: "SEARCH_ÖÄÜöäüß".
1.2 TO: "alphaÖÄÜöäüß" <alpha@x.com>
1.2 CC: "betaÖÄÜöäüß" <beta@x.com>
2. Save email as draft.
3. View drafts folder.
4.1 Search for subject "search_öäüöäüß".
4.2 Search for recipient "alphaöäüöäüß".
4.3 Search for recipient "betaöäüöäüß".
All three searches fail.

as the search in thunderbird can only use the information it has received doing the header fetch, there was a problem relating to this bug:
395065 IMAP Gateway: umlauts in FROM/TO are displayed incorrectly in list view https:/
The problem has been fixed with the fix to 395065
