Bug Description
Binary package hint: thunderbird
If you only use one display, that you open firefox or thunderbird, and that you connect a second display (as twinview, as far as I'm concerned) then the problem appear.
When I move Thunderbird window to the second desktop and try to select a menu, it still pops up on the left edge of the first desktop.
I don't why, but "print screen" button doesn't work when the menu is open, so I can't make you a print screen.
I speak of menu in the top bar of the program, but also favorites in firefox, alt-tabl of image or folder in my bar of favorite, and of the menu I can have with right click.
I use Ubuntu 9.04

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 393029
This will help us to find and resolve the problem. Bear in mind that you may need to install the python-launchpadlib package from the universe repository. Additionally, when prompted to give apport-collect permissions for Launchpad you will need to give it at least the ability to "Change Non-Private" data as it will be adding information to your bug report. Thanks in advance!
When reporting bugs in the future please use apport, either via the appropriate application's "Help -> Report a Problem" menu or using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/ReportingBu gs.
