Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

What currently happens: when a user drags a file it is possible to place the file in between the folders which does nothing.
What should happen: when a user drags files to a bookmark on the sidebar the only option should be to add it to a folder.

This is on Ubuntu 9.04 (both 32 and 64 bit versions)

to reproduce simply drag any file (not folder) to the users bookmarks on the sidebar (this only occurs on the bottom where documents, music, pictures, etc. are located). While dragging, nautilus will give the option to either move the file to one of the bookmarks or give the option to move the file in between the bookmarks which does nothing (since you are dragging a file not a folder).

This sounds somewhat related to bug #298425.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance.

there has been no such issue reported in years, assuming it doesn't exist in the current version of the code and closing
