Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

Pidgin will not log in. The program opens but it just says "Available and connecting" but never actually connects.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. If you are connecting to Yahoo this looks like an duplicate of bug 389322. Can you confirm this?
