Bug Description

I put my project-folder from a C# Project into Ubuntu One. As soon as I make some changes to one of the source files and save it, Ubuntu One starts to synch (as expected). But then Monodevelop recognize that the file has been altered somewhere else and asks what to do..

Thanks for you report!I think think that this is a know bug that we are already working on, but just to be sure, can you please attach your syncdaemon logs son we can see what is going on? To do that pleas do on the console:

$ apport-collect -p ubuntuone-client 390277

Also, can you name one file which has this issue?

Thanks.

I believe we have fixed this problem. Could you confirm?

I just checked it and it seems to be fixed for me. But there is still a problem when I initially create a new project, then it has the same behavior as before.. However, after it's uploaded once completely it works fine now!

I believe this is a duplicate of bug 491777. Nautilus plugin was utime()ing the files to refresh the emblems on UploadStarted signal from syncdaemon.

Could you please try the following:
1. Quit nautilus with 'nautilus -q'
2. Create the files in your IDE or editor
3. See whether the IDE or editor notices that the file has changed on the disk.

If the file is not changed, try performing the same steps with nautilus opened. If you get the same behavior with and without nautilus feel free to comment this bug and remove the "duplicate" status.
