This crash has the same stack trace characteristics as bug #226483. However, the latter was already fixed in an earlier package version than the one in this report. This might be a regression or because the problem is in a dependent package.

Hi Teej,
can you still reproduce this error? - If so, can you please check the following list:

* does ~/.bughelper/packages exist
* does cd ~/.bughelper/packages exist; bzr info result in an error
* does it help to remove ~/.bughelper/packages and then run bughelper again (this would checkout the whole branch again)

Based off the error message it seems likely that this was caused by the ~/.bughelper/packages directory being manually created somehow and conflicting with bughelper which wants this to be a bazaar branch for pulling clue files. I tried to recreate this as a new user using bughelper in Karmic and was unsuccessful, so I am closing it as Invalid.
