Bug Description
Using Dapper Flight 5
Kernel: 2.6.15-19-386
I installed dapper on my laptop, and although the trackpoint mouse is recognized, an external ps/2 microsoft mouse does not work. I am a linux newbie.
dmesg | grep mouse gives me the following message:
"mice: PS/2 mouse device common for all mice"
I originally installed Breezy Badger, however, had trouble with it recognizing the integrated ethernet card, a bug related to ACPI module. So I tried Dapper.

Thanks for you bug report. Are you able to update to the latest kernel (-20) as well as other xorg updates then observe if the issue still persists?
