Bug Description

Binary package hint: sabnzbdplus

SABnzbd 0.4.11 is essentially the same as 0.4.9, but with less problems.
We skipped 0.4.10, because it failed the tests done by our release team.

Summary:

    * Fixed all the places in the UI that needed a session key
    * Dropped multi-core PAR2 for OSX (too much problems)
    * Added an option to enable/disable multi-core PAR2 for Windows
    * Added an option to disable the new security feature (not recommended!)

This should be the final 0.4.x release. We will now concentrate on getting the 0.5.0 release out.

Bugfix release, can this be updated?

Thanks

Packages has made it into Debian recently, with a couple of changes and improvement compared to 0.4.9-0ubuntu1:
* new upstream bugfix release 0.4.11;
* dependency + patch to use packaged python-configobj rather than included stock copy;
* updated init script;
* minor improvements (mostly syntax changes) to copyright file.

Should've remembered/checked the debian unstable feeds first.

Presumably sabnzbdplus-theme-* (ie the 3 themes) will be brought forward with it too?

This bug was fixed in the package sabnzbdplus - 0.4.11-1ubuntu1

---------------
sabnzbdplus (0.4.11-1ubuntu1) karmic; urgency=low

  * Merge from Debian unstable (LP: #379724), remaining changes:
    + Program doesn't support Python 2.6 yet: force use of Python 2.5,
      keeping patch 05_force_python_version.dpatch as well as relevant
      small changes in debian/pyversions and debian/rules.
    + Info about Python 2.6 compatibility in debian/README.source.
    + Dependencies on python-(c)elementtree removed since these are
      included in python2.5, which is a hard dependency of the binary
      package.

sabnzbdplus (0.4.11-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release.

sabnzbdplus (0.4.9-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Initial release. (Closes: #514156)
  * Adding patches:
    + debian/patches/01_remove_script_headers.dpatch: prevent lintian
      from complaining about non-executable scripts.
    + debian/patches/02_find_parts_in_usr_share.dpatch: make the program
      find parts (interface templates, python modules) under /usr/share.
    + debian/patches/04_use_config_when_daemon.dpatch: use the normal
      configuration when run as a daemon to prevent the program from trying
      to store its configuration and internal accounting files in /usr/bin.
    + debian/patches/07_use_system_configobj.dpatch: use the system
      configobj rather than the included stock copy.

Reedy Boy: yes, the main program as well as the three extra interface template package are build from a single source package so they're all updated in the development release (karmic). If you want 0.4.11 in jaunty, try asking for a backport (more info at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports).

Cheers, dont know if its worth getting it backported, nothing too major that affects ubuntu..

I suppose if they get 0.5 out before the next ubutnu release it'd be worth getting it backported

Thanks again

I'm having trouble with 0.4.9 in jaunty 64 bit, it just started crashing and losing connection on my recently, I don't think it's anything to do with my configuration. Either a backport or a link to a .deb I can update from would be greatly appreciated
