Bug Description

After setting up OpenGEU to use a static IP, resuming from suspend breaks the network.
To regain network access I have to restart networking...

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

And then this is what happens...

RTNETLINK answers: No such process
SIOCDELRT: No such process
                                                                         [ OK ]
racerraul@raul-6000:~$ * Stopping NTP server ntpd
   ...done.
 * Starting NTP server ntpd
   ...done.

After that I have access to the network.

I've tried searching for a solution for this, and it seems many people have problems with this using a wireless adapter.
Mine is not a wireless adapter, it is wired.

Sorry but honestly, I think this is an Ubuntu related bug.. At the moment we
cannot give any support to Ubuntu related bugs because OpenGEU is not an
indipendent derivate, it tries to become official and we are very few
developers. Even if we wanted, only Canonical can understand and help with
these kind of problems, sorry :(
