AVerMedia AverTV DVB-T USB 2.0 doesn't work on jaunty

AVerMedia AverTV DVB-T USB 2.0 (A800) doesn't work on ubuntu jaunty, with 2.6.28-11-generic kernel. When the usb card is plugged , dmesg shows:

but its not a duplicate problem not only is it a different card the symptons
are different as in not the same
