Bug Description

Binary package hint: quicksynergy

here's what I did : I installed quicksynergy but im tired of all the time starting that programm .. bad it doesn't have autostart.. so its possible to make autostart for synergy but it didn't work. I using Ubuntu as server and Xubuntu as client. I have installed Quicksynergy so it must have installed synergy also. I haven't checkt if its working but I just followed https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SynergyHowto#Server%20Autostart%20at%20login%20screen,%20GDM
Server Autostart at login screen, GDM

so what's wrong if documentaation at start mentions also quicksynergy so i have that.

this also may be as wishlist for creating QS autostart but main thing to correct maybe documentation

Thanks for reporting this issue. The documentation is written by users like yourself. That is a user maintained and written wiki with documentation to make synergy/quicksynergy work using Gnome and KDE desktop environments. Xubuntu uses Xfce desktop environment, so this documentation may not apply. Perhaps the Ubuntu forums (at http://ubuntuforums.org/) or the mailing list (https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/xubuntu-users) would be able to assist you in getting this to work the way you desire it to.

Please stop adding all these projects to each bug you report. It adds a great amount of noise to the bug email for everyone. This is not an Ubuntu Documentation error as I already explained above. The documentation you followed is written by users, just like you. If it is not correct, you have the option to correct it.
