could someone please backport this to jaunty (and possibly intrepid)?

the version carried by ubuntu repos is broken since intrepid, the breakage was fixed upstream two versions and several months ago.

rkward has been broken for kubuntu users for 6 months now, and will complete 12 months if no backport is provided for jaunty, and possibly intrepid.

I for one think this is kinda outrageous... please backport to jaunty at least.

@Gorgonzola
Have you test my package (rkward 0.5.0d-0ubuntu1) in Jaunty? Works fine? old issues are fixed?
Thanks

The package can not be installed directly in jaunty, in cause of the dependency: libqt4-dbus (>= 4.5.1)

In jaunty there is only the version 4.5.0 available. I have no experience with modify deb-packages, so I can't do more things. I even don't know if there are some more dependencies, which are broken.

it's me again ...

I have succesfully build the source with 'cmake' and 'make'. Then I have build and installed a deb-package with 'checkinstall'.

--> rkward build from this source works fine in jaunty

I'm working on this, wait few days, because rkward (package, not source) in karmic seems broken, so I have to fix before in karmic and after I can or we can request a backport to jaunty.
