Bug Description

Ubuntu 9.04

From display :1 I ran a new X on display :3.

X :3 -ac & nvidia-settings --load-config-only

I then switched back (ctrl+alt+F7) to display :1 and tried to running the following command

DISPLAY=:3 xrandr --size 1024x768

This caused the X that was running (display :3) to crash (display :1 was unaffected), with the following errors: (Followed by the full log)

This is a backtrace best I could do. I don't know where to obtain debugging info for the nvidia driver I'm using?

I also see this problem at an other machine that runs a legacy version of the driver (173.14.20) and the problem is I don't even know what triggers it, the one users is doing it's own business and suddenly the other's X session crashes (my first idea was to disable the screensaver, it's not that [could it be the power save?] )
