A little more information would be useful if thats ok.

Have you installed the flash plugins? If not then see https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+question/50208 -- that might help.

If you have then this is a genuine bug, I can play videos fine, so I don't think it is, but its possible.

Thank you Ben,

Yes. I have the flash plugins installed. Maybe I should
uninstall and reinstall as it was easy downloading from wubi.

As a few other things don't work either e.g. skype

I updated the description to inform other people that the flash plugins are installed, hope you don't mind.

I am changing the status back to 'New' now as I think all the necessary information is there now.

But please tell us how you get on with re-installing the flash plugins.

All video is working excellent now since re-installing of flash plugins.
And I got skype to work. So issues solved!
