Site "www.detran.df.gov.br" not opening requested page

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

The site of www.detran.df.gov.br does not open a page that is requested. The page is based on a product from Microsoft. Detran support asked me to use ietab but it does not work.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to www.detran.df.gov.br
2. Enter the following: PLACA field: JEE2615; RENAVAN field: 634880551
3. Click on "Consultar"
4. The following page appears: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/27014021/DetranScreenshot.png
5. Scroll down to tables that contain "Emitir" buttons
6. Click on one of the "Emitir" buttons

Expected behaviour:
A new page should open that contains a document or a payment form.

Actual behaviour:
The browsers goes back to the page displayed in step 4.

I tried to replicate but the web site behaves as expected for on Jaunty with firefox-3.0 version 3.0.10+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1. See the attached screenshot of the result. Could you please try again on the current version of the web site?

until this part works( on the "consultar" button ... the problem is
when I try to click on any document issued.

try this number: Placa: JEH 2580 and renavam: 004305345 and try
sending any the document. the page stay only looping.

OK, I tried to click on the "Emitir" button that's for year 2009 in the "Licenciamento" table and indeed it goes back to the same page. What should it do instead?

open a window popup with the document to see or print formulary to pay.
